On impact, their SuperEight® impact energy control system dissipates force by reducing it to smaller increments and spreading it over a greater area. Additionally, they incorporate full brims for protection from the sun and hazardous substances falling onto the neck and shoulders. Meets ANSI Z89.1, Type 1, Class E.
